Angelo’s favourite incentive hotels – where style, atmosphere and strategic location meet

Since April, Angelo has been part of our team at FAME Travel Designers. What stood out right away? His sharp eye for hotels. With many years of experience in the hospitality industry, he knows exactly what matters when selecting a venue for an incentive trip: location, ambience, group capacity, service and overall experience.

We asked him to share his three current favourites. Each hotel is located in a region full of character, offers quality facilities, and aligns perfectly with the expectations of groups seeking a memorable incentive journey.

Hôtel Indarra – Arbonne, near Biarritz (France)

Tucked away in the charming village of Arbonne, just outside Biarritz and surrounded by the Basque hills, Hôtel Indarra is a modern boutique hotel with 33 stylish rooms and suites. It feels like an elegant family home, with light-filled spaces, natural materials and a warm, inviting design. A true haven for groups that value authenticity and comfort.

Its location allows for a highly varied programme: surf lessons on the Atlantic coast, hikes in the Pyrenees, a pintxos tour in Saint-Jean-de-Luz or a culinary excursion to San Sebastián. Thanks to its intimate scale, Hôtel Indarra can be partially or fully privatised, offering a personal and exclusive atmosphere for groups of around 25 to 40 participants.

Palazzo Tirso – Cagliari, Sardinia (Italy)

On the southern coast of Sardinia, within walking distance of Cagliari’s historic centre, lies Palazzo Tirso. This five-star hotel masterfully combines historic grandeur with sleek modern design. The 85 rooms and suites are decorated in elegant Mediterranean style, with large windows and plenty of natural light. The rooftop terrace with pool and bar offers stunning views of the harbour – the perfect spot for post-activity relaxation.

From the hotel, you can quickly reach Poetto Beach, the nearby flamingo-filled salt flats or the rugged Sardinian interior. Think: sailing trips, e-bike tours, or candlelit dinners in a restored farmhouse in the hills. With its mix of city, sea, nature and culture, Palazzo Tirso is a highly versatile base for incentives of 40 to 60 guests.

Finca Victoria – Begur, Costa Brava (Spain)

For groups looking for an intimate, luxurious setting in a Mediterranean landscape, Finca Victoria in Begur is a gem. With 38 rooms, including 10 suites, this five-star hotel is nestled among rolling green hills with sea views. The style is warm, elegant and peaceful – natural materials, soft tones and modern touches create the perfect escape.

Nearby you’ll find the beaches of Aiguablava and Tamariu, the medieval towns of Pals and Peratallada, and the historic city of Girona. The region is ideal for a balanced programme of activity and gastronomy: coastal hikes along the Camí de Ronda, kayaking in turquoise bays, wine tastings, cooking workshops or a sunset dinner on the beach. Thanks to its size and option for full privatisation, Finca Victoria is perfect for groups of 30 to 50 people.

Looking for the ideal hotel to match your group and goals? Angelo is happy to help you find the perfect fit. Every detail matters: the size of the group, the atmosphere you want to create, and the activities you have in mind.
