From charming old towns and breathtaking landscapes to delicious local cuisine and quirky activities. During my recent fam trip, I discovered first-hand why this Balkan gem is the perfect setting for a creative and impactful group experience.
We were immediately immersed in Montenegrin culture. One of the highlights was a beautiful performance of the traditional national dance – colourful, energetic, and incredibly authentic. It gave us a real taste of the country’s rich heritage.
We also got to explore the local flavours. Montenegro is full of culinary surprises, offering fresh, honest food made with love and served with heartwarming hospitality.
Our journey started in the picturesque town of Kotor, where we strolled through ancient streets and along the city walls, soaking up the atmosphere. Then it was time to crank things up a notch: we sped through the Bay of Kotor in a speedboat – surrounded by stunning views.
And it didn’t stop there. Next up: a retro ride in vintage Trabant cars. A bit bumpy, a bit nostalgic, and above all, just great fun. Of course, a jeep tour couldn’t be missed either – cutting through the rugged landscape of the national park, high in the mountains and right in the heart of nature.
Montenegro truly surprised me: it’s adventurous, authentic, full of flavour and jaw-droppingly beautiful. A destination that ticks all the boxes for those who love a blend of culture, nature and fun!
